To produce and lodge EPCs for new dwellings, you’ll need to be a qualified On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor as well as a member of an appropriate accreditation scheme. If you wish to produce EPCs using our BuildDesk Energy Design software, you will need to be a member of the BRE Global Accreditation scheme. Accreditation scheme
Membership needed to produce official EPCs
Once qualified as an On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor you will be able to join an Accreditation Scheme and produce the official EPCs. Our BuildDesk Energy Design software only lodges EPCs in conjunction with the BRE Accreditation scheme. Members of the BRE scheme automatically qualify for a substantial discount off the BuildDesk Energy Design annual software license fee.
The BRE Accreditation lodgement fee for Energy Performance Certificates for Newly Constructed Dwellings is £7.50, in addition to this is a Landmark fee of £1.15 and a BuildDesk fee of £4.00. These fees will be collected directly by the BRE.
