BuildDesk Carbon Checker, BRE Training & BRE Global Accreditation

The following guidance describes the additional requirements if you wish to use BuildDesk Carbon Checker to produce and lodge EPCs with the BRE Global Accreditation for Building Energy Assessors (non dwellings).

DipNDEA Level 3 or 4 candidates must attend an additional one day Carbon Checker software familiarisation course. Once accredited with the BRE scheme customers with a valid Carbon Checker license can then generate and lodge EPCs using Carbon Checker. This course is also required for BRE APEL Level 4 candidates using Carbon Checker and who have previously sat a formal iSBEM examination. No formal Carbon Checker examination is required for Commercial Energy Assessors who follow these routes.
