BuildDesk and BRE collaborate to provide On-construction Domestic Energy Assessor training and Accreditation scheme

BuildDesk, BRE Training and BRE Global are pleased to announce a joint collaboration to offer the very best in software tools, training and accreditation for the production of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for new dwellings and commercial buildings. For training dates and more information visit BRE training page and make sure that you are ready for the introduction of EPCs in these markets on the 6th April 2008 by becoming one of the first accredited energy assessors.

BuildDesk will be providing their latest Energy Design (SAP 2005) as the software tool for the new BRE On-construction Domestic Energy Assessor training and Accreditation scheme. For new and existing commercial buildings BuildDesk will be providing the BRE with their Carbon Checker (SBEM) software tool which has all the necessary user friendly and productivity advantages when inputting geometry from either CAD drawings or site surveys.

BuildDesk Energy Design is be available to customers who are registered members of the BRE’s On Construction Energy Assessor Accreditation Scheme at a discounted rate of only £250 for an annual license. The software is automated for EPC lodgement via membership of the BRE scheme.
New and existing customers using our software outside the BRE Accreditation scheme will be able to purchase BuildDesk Energy Design at a price of £550 for an annual license.
