BuildDesk U software crashing after opening – Microsoft Windows update

BuildDesk U software users who have run the most recent Windows update (14/15 August 2019) are experience problems with our software crashing after opening. This can be fixed by uninstalling the latest Microsoft Security update.

Go to Windows Settings>Updates and Security>Windows Update> View update history>Uninstall updates>Microsoft Windows. Select the most recent Security update for Microsoft Windows and then Uninstall program.

This will return your computer prior to the Windows update and the software will run as normal.

Please turn off automatic Windows updates until Microsoft release a patch for this.
